Excluding Sparkbooth Windows Defender

To exclude Sparkbooth from being scanned by Windows Defender, follow these steps:

1. Open Windows Security Settings

• Click on the Start menu and type Windows Security, then click to open.
• Alternatively, access it via Settings (Win + I) > Update & Security > Windows Security.

2. Navigate to Virus & Threat Protection

• In the Windows Security window, click on Virus & threat protection.

3. Manage Settings

• Under the "Virus & threat protection settings" section, click on Manage settings.

4. Exclusions

• Scroll to the Exclusions section.
• Click on Add or remove exclusions.

5. Add an Exclusion For Sparkbooth application folder

• In the Exclusions section, click on Add an exclusion.
• Select Folder to exclude a whole folder and select the Sparkbooth application folder (ex. C:\Program Files (x86)\Sparkbooth 7, C:\Program Files (x86)\Sparkbooth DSLR Canon 7, or C:\Program Files (x86)\Sparkbooth DSLR Nikon 7)

6. Confirm the Exclusion

• After selection, the folder or file will be added to the exclusions list and will not be scanned by Windows Defender.
