Webcam Live View
You can use a webcam for the live view instead of the DSLR live view. The benefit is it reduces the chance of the DSLR camera from overheating when live view on all the time. The webcam live view can display at a higher resolution and frame rate.
- Press ctrl-2 to open camera settings, and select the webcam from the Video Source list.
- To help position the webcam to the DSLR's view, press the Take DSLR Photo button.
- The photo will be overlaid on top of the webcam live view with transparency, so you can position the webcam to closely match the DSLR's live.
