RE: 1. Ability to have the png file overlay and the ABILITY to write on top of the PNG overlay wiht the sparkbooth text editor.
... You can add text/graphics on top of a PNG Overlay when you add the PNG Overlay as an IMAGE at the top (NOT using the OVERLAY on the right)
An Overlay is the TOP and nothing can be placed above it... same as the Background image, nothing can be placed below it ... but when you add an image (PNG/JPG/etc) as an Image (top center) it can be placed above your photo boxes and still be able to add TEXT/Graphics on top of it.
RE: 2. Ability to take photos with any camera and shoot them or copy and paste them into a folder and people can select the photos that they want for the design and the order..
... This is Photo Booth software not a Photo Layout Design software. The cameras that are compatable are webcams and a large selection of Canon and Nikon DSLR cameras. - The guest/user steps in front of the camera and starts a session to take the number of photos you have in the layout(s) you have created. You CAN give the guest/user a choice of different layouts (with different number of photos to be taken) to select from... they can also have the ability to customize their layout with Stickers (virtual props) and even write on the layout. - But asking to give them a way to BUILD their own layout after taking photos would not work for 95% of people using the software as a business.
RE: 3, Ability to create moving GIF files for animations for the opening screen such as the autumn/thanksgiving theme that is built in with this type of animation. If not, can you have a lot more built in. Especially a couple for weddings, christmas, and birthday
... The built in Animated background screens (Fall/Halloween/etc) are not GIF files, they are SWF files... script coded elements that play as an animation. If you can create swf files, you can use them as a Backgound image.
RE: 4. built in webcam exposure compensation. I should be able to click on a slider for the webcam and let it over or under expose the adjustment.
... If you are using a webcam that has controls to make adjustments (like many Logitech HD webcams) you can open the Controller and make those adjustments before doing a session. (see attached video)
NOTE: We ARE open for suggestions and happy to get them. But we have been doing this for a long time and not all suggestions will be good for the majority of our users. Sometimes a suggetion is already capable, we just need to tell you as I have done here. I was NOT trying to be rude, just giving you the answers that cover your suggestions.
