Sparkbooth DSLR version 7 freezes on loading screen

Hi Jon and Joe
My Sparkbooth canon version 7 will no longer boot up. It freezes on the loading screen and the spinning icon stops spinning. I’ve also noticed my adobe lightroom 5 program does the same. Other programs such as photoshop etc on this particular booth laptop are still working. I have a large event on Saturday so I’m panicking. Any ideas?

    Can you send the Sparkbooth-log.txt file in your Documents folder?

    Hi John,

     

    Thanks for your reply. So, I had tons of failed attempts to boot Sparkbooth DSLR or Adobe Lightroom 5 up (I had to keep running task manger to end task) So, I left the computer running from 3am until now (10:30am) trying to install windows updates. These windows updates failed. I’ve attached a screenshot of the message. Then when I booted Sparkbooth DSLR and Adobe Lightroom 5, they both worked. I have attached the only text files present in my documents folder. None of them seem to contain any information from this morning. I have a feeling this may be an issue with the laptop or Windows. What worries me is if this happens again at an event, I’m screwed.

    Looks like you have an issue with your laptop we do notice you have version 5 is the problem still occurring when you use version 5?

    If you are having problems loading other applications, maybe there is
    something wrong with the operating system. Have you tried reinstalling
    Windows?
