Print 2 2x6 strips HiTi P520L printer
When using sparkbooth I cannot seem to print 2x6. I have looked at the discussions and changed the layouts but a 4x6 always comes out. It doesn’t seem to be a printer issue as when I use Microsoft paint and select 2 2x6 the the strips are printed. Please can anyone help as I have an event tomorrow. Thanks

You need to set the PRINTER for cutting 2X6 strips from the 4X6 layout that is sent to your printer
I have and use the HiTi P525L printer
and it works the same as the P520L
go in to your Computer > Devices and Printers
and RIGHT CLICK your P520L printer and select
Printer Preferences to open the Printer settings

Hi Joe,
I have changed these settings already and this is what confuses me. I had a call with the company that sold me the printer, they tested it on the “paint” program and this did split the 4x6 into two 2x6 strips. However whenever I take a picture on sparkbooth it comes out as a whole 4x6 showing the duplicate on either side so format is correct and does not cut it.

Did you do what I said and go into the PRINTER settings
and make sure you have selected the Paper Size to
6X4-Split (6X2 2 prints) ? This is the only way your printer
will cut a 4X6 double strip into 2 strips.

Ok, the only thing I can think of that would
cause this is if you went into the Save Folder and
clicked in a finished layout and clicked Print.
This would send the layout to your printer
to print and cut a 4X6 - NOT split
(Using the computer printing settings and
ignoring what you have set in the printer.
But you insist that it is doing this during
a normal session or from the Album
and it should cut the print for (2) 2X6 strips.
Can you do me a favor and go into your
Computer > Devices and Printers
and RIGHT CLICK your P520L printer and select
Printer Preferences to open the Printer settings and
capture a photo and attach it here for me to see?
This would tell me you DO have it set up correctly.

Nope... appears to be set correctly
The problem is the printer is not working correctly
you will need to contact a Dealer or the Mfg. and
see if it can be fixed...
It is not a software issue, as I said before
the software only sends the layout to the printer.

Are you sure you have the right printer selected in Sparkbooth? The printer
with the split paper selected has the name "Hiti P520L (Copy 1)"

YES... I did not see that
You need to do what I said before...
Go into your Devices and Printers and DELETE that HiTi P520L (Copy 1)
and make sure you Always use the same USB port on the computer
when connecting the printer... Set the original HiTi P520L as the Default printer
- then go into the Sparkbooth Printing settings and make sure
you have selected the HiTi P520L (NOT A COPY)
**This is why we have more than one Support Team - I did not see that and it is as I suspected and needs a simple Trust me and FOLLOW my instructions*
