Importing new layout design
I can not get my new layout imported in. It doesn't even show as an option even though the file is on my desk top in a PNG file

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

You do not IMPORT layouts that way...
IF you Saved / Exported a layout in the Layout Editor
it would be a SBL type file (Sparkbooth Layout) not a PNG file.
Attach your PNG image file here and I will show you how
it can be used/added in a layout. (yes, I will create a video showing you)

but you need to attach your PNG image so I can
show you how to use it in a layout you are trying to create.
