General Troubleshooting

Problem:
Pictures to dark. On monitor and printouts

Solution: Had attendant check camera settings on Logitech software. no help. Had attendant restart system and app. no help. increased lighting in booth. Worked enough to get through event, later discovered webcam (Logitech Pro 9000) went bad. Used at least 20 times. From now on i will send a cheap spare.

Problem:
No monitor picture in booth.

Solution:
Check all cables and power. Try monitor switch at top of keyboard on laptop (function key). Laptop and monitor resolution may not compatible. This will occur randomly. Open display properties and adjust to a compatible resolution for both monitors.

Problem:
Wrong paper size message.

Solution: Canceled print job.Opened control panel, open printers folder. Right click to printing preferences. Set paper size to 4x6. Apply or save changes. Shut down app and restart. Reprinted picture for guest from file.

Problem:
Logos missing from pictures.

Solution:
Logos were saved to usb thumbdrive. Drive was removed. Reinserted drive

Problem:
Sparkbooth app will not start.

Solution:
Open task manager, Sparkbooth still running in processes. End process. Restarted sparkbooth app.

Problem:
Booth camera not detected. Only built in laptop cam

Solution:
Close Sparkbooth app and restart. If usb webcam is plugged in after starting app, it will not be recognized.

Problem:
Icons and preview promts on touchscreen monitor to small.

Solution:
If using laptop, open lid. lid must be open, even if its set never to hibernate or sleep with closed lid. Windows will auto adjust resolution for touchscreens optimum resolution (too small icons and prompts). Vista and 7
