General to create a filename with the date and time.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/488401422020-11-18T18:36:56Z2020-11-18T18:36:56ZDate option with photo layout

No content.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/488401422020-11-18T18:49:23Z2020-11-18T18:49:23ZDate option with photo layout

OK, I've added a text box with {filename}.
Now, under General I can check Filename to enter a custom filename.
What do I exactly need to enter here.
I only see a prefix and Start index.

This is the idea:
The booth is used on a daily base and anyone can take a picture.
Because I'm not always around, I can't change anything in the settings, so when someone is taking a picture, that day needs to be added on the layout.

Edwin Sulsterstag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/488401422020-11-18T19:00:19Z2020-11-18T19:00:19ZDate option with photo layout

If you hover the mouse over the text box, it will show a tooltip with
placeholders you can use.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/488401422020-11-18T19:14:26Z2020-11-18T19:14:26ZDate option with photo layout

Great, I didn't see that.
I've entered the date, but now the startdate is adding a 0 (and counting up) after the year.
I deleted the numers in the Start index but this didn't help.

Edwin Sulsterstag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/488401422020-11-18T19:16:35Z2020-11-18T19:16:35ZDate option with photo layout

Filenames need to be unique, so you need to add the time or it will add an
index

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/488401422020-11-18T19:21:51Z2020-11-18T19:21:51ZDate option with photo layout

If you only want the date to show, the filename placeholder will not work

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/488401422020-11-18T19:36:00Z2020-11-18T19:36:52ZDate option with photo layout

Hi John,

I already tried this.
Still, even with time added, it keeps adding an indexnumber.

I've made 2 photo's.
One at 20:27 and one at 20:28 (too bad an : isn't possible in the prefix)

The photo made at 20:27 has an indexnumber of 0
The photo made at 20:28 has an indexnumber of 1

Strange, isn't it ?

===================== Is it possible that you can "add the current date" option in the next version ?

Edwin Sulsterstag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/488401422020-11-18T21:15:42Z2020-11-18T21:15:42ZDate option with photo layout

Sorry, I forgot the index is always part of the filename. You cannot remove
it

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/488401422020-11-20T20:51:00Z2020-11-20T20:51:00ZDate option with photo layout

Can you give this a try and let me know if it works for you? I added the
date placeholders to the text label in the photo layout editor.
Now I can add the date of the photo taken, even with hour and minute (if
needed).

I assume this download is a Beta version and I need to wait untill there
is an update available ?

Gr. Edwin.
