Add the ability to take photos with the camera would be nice.

As I stated in your other posting

It is a Photo Booth... not a Photo Studio
You can take photos with a count down or with out a countdown
making it possible to take each photo with the Key board function
or use of a wireless presenter remote.

So what you plan to REQUEST in Suggestions
is already available in the current 5.0 version of the software

For clarity, I was suggesting using the camera itself to take the photo instead of using a computer or peripheral to take the photo. That said, after playing around with things awhile, this suggestion would not help anything, as I couldn't see through the viewfinder anyway. So, never mind.

    Dale,

You entire conversation regarding this baffles me...

You want to only use the camera to take the photos
    and not the software...
then why do you need any software, when that is
what the camera was made to do??

Take your photos and use the SD card to load
into any computer and print them

    Hello Joe-
I am a bit baffled by some of your replies as well. I'm never quite sure if you are trying to answer my questions, insulting me, or both.

Assuming you are sincere in being baffled, I came to the land of photo booths from being an event photographer. I like photography, so I don't send out my booth with an attendant and a button. I take the photos myself, and I want to take the best photos that I can. Having quick access to the camera settings allow me to zoom in/out to accommodate different group sizes, change the focus, increase the ISO when outdoors or near a window, etc. I can adjust the flash easily since its near the camera. But perhaps the strongest reason to take photos with the camera is to take the photo at the best possible moment.

Why do I use SparkBooth and not just carry around SD cards?
I mainly use the software to take more than one image of a group, and place them on one print, and sandwich the images between a foreground and a background. It allows me to make my own layouts, and make reprints easily.

As I said in my last post, I retracted the suggestion, so I'm not lobbying for the feature, just answering your question to unbaffle you. I understand John will incorporate some suggestions and reject others that people submit. That's the whole point of suggestions. If I ever post another one, it's just to suggest, not an expectation that it will be implemented, not a criticism of the software, just a suggestion.

    Hope that helps.

Yes... there are times my replies come across as
EXTREMELY RUDE but I do not mean to sound that way.

The current version 5.0 Does Have This Feature already
IF you have the version 5.0 Trial
go to the settings > countdown
and set it as shown in attachment 1
and what you will see when you start a session
(with your 1st Space bar press) is the 2nd attachment
this is waiting for you to TAKE THE PHOTO
by pressing the Space bar or a Presentation remote

This will allow you to take the photos by trigger
    but not the camera button.
You are using the software commands to put together the layout,
so you need to use the software to Trigger the shots.
This can be done with a Keyboard command
(Space bar/and other buttons you set up) or a
    wireless Presentation controller.

I hope this clears the air on this topic for you.
