photo-substitute-pictures that are shown when previewing a layout I
created with custom pictures. (see attachment for
clarification)

Cheers, Sebastian

boehm.bastitag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397924982016-05-04T12:57:26Z2016-05-04T12:57:26Zreplace the placeholder-pictures in the layout-editor with custom pictures

You can do that just press your F-2 Key (see picture) and select

Thanks very much, just what I was looking for!

boehm.bastitag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397924982016-05-04T16:26:47Z2016-05-04T16:26:47Zreplace the placeholder-pictures in the layout-editor with custom pictures

That was a new one for me too, I wondered what that feature was
for (briefly)

Rob (ZCZ)tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397924982016-05-04T17:12:48Z2016-05-04T17:12:48Zreplace the placeholder-pictures in the layout-editor with custom pictures

What is really nice about it is when you are creating
a layout and use the Layout Editor PREVIEW,
the preview image now has an actual photo and
you can save this Preview image to sent to
your client for layout approval...
Much better than sending out a layout with a shadow image.

Did you know we can Now Do BUTTONS too !!!
a Feature no other software (today) offers
Jut finished Dave & Busters with full 4X6 layout
AND the Button feature... Great Package Upgrade ($$)

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397924982016-05-04T17:28:14Z2016-05-04T17:28:14Zreplace the placeholder-pictures in the layout-editor with custom pictures

To make this feature even better, it would be awseome if I could
use 4 different photos. But I don't want to seem greedy ;-)

boehm.bastitag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397924982016-05-04T18:19:32Z2016-05-04T18:19:32Zreplace the placeholder-pictures in the layout-editor with custom pictures

ahhhh... yea but it is not for using
as I had suggested
IF you need to provide 3-4 different sample
photos
for a client to preview (because bridezilla wants to see
a different photo in each window)

You should
1) Preview with 1 photo and save it
2) Change the photo preview to the next one
3) Preview with this new one and save it
...yea you see where I am going with
this
4) do the same for the number of photos needed
5) and Photoshop (crop/copy/paste) each photo box
and make a new Preview layout for your Bridezilla

I THINK the single photo will do for 98% of our clients
and for those who would even use this feature (less than 10%)
I do not think John should spend the time when we are all
asking for THIS and THAT and THE OTHER STUFF to be
added

Sorry Sebastian... I know that sounded rude,
but you and I both know it is how this whole preview thingy
will even be used by the majority of SB users.

feature is good enough for me as it is!

There are issues that are more pressing to me :-)

boehm.basti
