current no
option for that.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-10-16T15:09:40Z2013-10-16T15:09:42ZColor Option

Not quite...even instead of a color wheel if it was a an actual
circle or "button" that just said color or effects.

Nate Horowitztag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-10-16T15:14:30Z2013-10-16T15:14:30ZColor Option

Don't you have an attendant there that can tell the guests how
to use the on screen buttons? Or do you just drop off the photo
booth and let the guests figure it out with no one to guide
them??

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-10-16T15:27:23Z2013-10-16T15:27:24ZColor Option

We have an attendant - but guests dont listen and my attendant
stand behind the booth...I mean if there is a start button, a
layout button...surly there could be an effects button no?

Nate Horowitztag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-10-16T15:36:06Z2013-10-17T02:21:02ZColor Option

By the way - I greatly appreciate your very quick responses
:))

Nate Horowitztag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-10-16T15:47:55Z2013-10-16T15:47:55ZColor Option

The on screen button icons represent what they are for
and the only one that has a TEXT title is the START button.
The Layout button doesn't have text... ?
It would be impossible to have all the text describing each
button
and what they are for i.e. Color/B&W/Sepia/Fotomatic
Just having Change Effect (IMO) will only confuse them more.

I suggest at the beginning of the photo booth opening you
have
your attendant interact with the guests that are going into your
booth
telling them how it all works and that will make the expierence
more friendly and it will also get you more work.
And after the 1st 1/2 hour or so the guests will know how it
works
and inform other guests and the attendant can stand behind
the booth for the balance of the event as he/she has done
before.

Just my 2¢ on this

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-10-16T15:50:52Z2013-10-17T02:21:02ZColor Option

I guess...it was more of a visual preference for me I guess. A
rainbow colored wheel vs a nice Button that says Color Change

Nate Horowitztag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-10-16T15:58:04Z2013-10-16T15:58:05ZColor Option

I guess....I was just thinking it would have a nicer look and be
pretty self explanatory. Everything else in the software is so easy
to use...its the only thing that doesnt jump out at you and say
"hey, play with this lol" I made a quick example.

Nate Horowitztag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-10-16T16:27:16Z2013-10-16T16:27:16ZColor Option

Nate,

That is a very nice looking button !!!
" IF " John would change the button
what might help it Jump Out even more
if the button background was divided with
1/2 Color (like it is currently) and the other half
as B&W [see attached]

I like your idea

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-10-16T18:31:07Z2013-10-16T18:31:08ZColor Option

I like that idea too...issue...it doesn't "say" to do
anything....

Nate Horowitztag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-10-16T18:51:03Z2013-10-16T18:51:47ZColor Option

Yes... I just put that icon together quickly and
I didn't take the time to add the text like you did...
and having the words " Color Changer "
might help

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-10-16T18:53:22Z2013-10-16T18:53:24ZColor Option

Right I'm fine with either...I would just like it to say
something so It grabs peoples attention and they touch it lol.

Nate Horowitztag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-11-10T13:45:32Z2013-11-10T13:45:33ZColor Option

I noticed the this discussion was closed by John...what was the
outcome or your thoughts on this John?

Natetag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-11-10T16:10:20Z2013-11-10T16:10:20ZColor Option

Discussion are automatically closed after some time.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-11-25T23:20:29Z2013-11-25T23:20:30ZColor Option

I think having a descriptive button would help.

anthonytag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/294314002013-11-26T06:47:53Z2013-11-26T06:47:53ZColor Option

I have an A4 sized stand in my tent next to the photo booth
machine that has pictures of each icon and explains what they
do.

Choose Colour/effects
View albums
choose layout

Simple work around but i agree custom buttons would be
awesome.

Ian Stamp
