Print counts and session counts

I was looking at my session count and my print counts and they look to be the same...even though I know that I've printed multiple strips during some sessions. I'm worried that my print count is now off and I may run out of paper/ribbon earlier then expected.

Here is the BEST way to insure that your PRINT count
keeps you in control to be ready to change Media/Paper.

Create a NEW Counter for PRINTS {see video attached]

Then every time you change the Paper/Media go into
your Counters (Ctrl+4) and RESET that counter back to 0

Thanks, I did that already, but just wanted to understand why the print and sessions where the same during my event the other day. I had multiple prints during a few of the sessions and would think that my prints count should have been higher then my session counts.

If you set it up AS PRINTS then every time the printer is sent
a layout/session to be printed... the counter adds 1 to the count.

So if you did 10 Sessions and each session you did 2 prints
(1 during the session and added one after) then your Prints
    counter would have 20...

It sounds like you have something set wrong.

Set your Prints to 0 and Sessions to 0
Do 3 Sessions and add a Print for each session
using the Album to print another OR use the Ctrl+P
(NOT set in Printer as 2 - Only set for 1)

Then check your Counters (Ctrl+4) and it should read
3 Sessions and 6 Prints... if it doesn't there is something wrong.

And you should send us a Request Support form by
going to the Main screen (where you do sessions) and
hold down the Ctrl + Shift + 9 keys all at the same time,
a New window will open and send it.

It will provide us additional information about your system.

Ok, I did what you said and ran a test last night during my event. It will show that extra photos where printed only if I use the Crtl-p from the keyboard. I had several groups come up and choose multiple prints from within the program and the count stayed consistent and didn't increase accordingly to the requested extra prints after the session. I don't recall this happening before the last update.

Can you hold down ctrl-shift-9 on the main screen to send your log?

In your support request you say "when I do it inside the program after a
session", how are you doing that exactly?

When you go into the print setup and select the option to have multiple prints. It will show up at the end of a session how many additional prints you want and you can select 2,3 etc.

Steve, Can you try this new build and let me know if the print counter
fixes the issue you were seeing?

Ok, just sent you the file. The counts are now correct, but it's not printing. It says sent to the printer, but nothing it printing.
