Resolution of Individual Photos

I noticed with the latest green screen DSLR beta, that the individual saved photos are much bigger than previous versions. In prior versions the individual photos were saved at 1800x1200 and were approximately 1.8 MB in size. In an event over the weekend using the latest DSRL version the individual photos were saved at 5184x3456 and about 7.8 MB each photo. That resolution matches the camera settings. I also saved the original DSLR photos at 5184x3456, but those photos from the camera are only 4.5 MB.

The individual photos were always a lower resolution. Is this a new feature?

I was wondering why the processing between photos seemed to be taking a little bit longer. I thought perhaps it was doing some additional processing. (Green screen was turned off).

If I'm not applying any filters or green screen processing, then there is no reason to save both files.

Is the individual photos are the same size as what is downloaded from the
camera now. How much longer is the time in between photos?

I meant... "Yes, the individual photos are the same size as what is
    downloaded from the camera now."

Actually, the time was not that much longer. It may have been the green screen option. I had turned green screen on for testing until I realized it and then I turned it off. I just remember seeing the striped bar across the bottom of the screen between photos.

So if the individual photos are the same size and I don't process the photos (filters) then there is no reason to save both. If I did process them, like B&W or sepia, then I might want to save both files.

Ok - so the file size is determined by the camera setting.

DSLR file size is determined by what you have set in your camera's menu
settings. In Sparkbooth camera settings, that only controls the LiveView
    size.

Just thinking, the individual photos are saving in between shots - that
could be the reason for the increase time. Can you try turning off saving
individual photos and see if that was the cause of the delay?

Ok - I will test this later on tonight or tomorrow and get back to you. Thanks.
