Questions about the Green Scree Beta

Hello -
I've been using Sparkbooth DSLR for quite a while now, mostly in its beta stage. Given John's conservative use of the beta classification, I'm considering using the Green Screen beta at an actual event.

My question is about the way it is programmed, and how isolated this feature is. If it starts getting flakey, would simply disabling the Chroma Key feature leave me with the current stable version of Sparkbooth DSLR (like a plugin) or is the greenscreen feature so interconnected that this wouldn't be a safe remedy?
Thanks

The DSLR green screen beta is basically the same as the other DSLR with the OPTION to use the Green Screen feature. If you choose to not turn on the Green Screen feature, it should work as normal for your event.

But make sure you test it. Several controls had to be modified for green
screen - turning the feature off should work normal but the code was
touched. Just test to verify that there are not any problems when it is
    turned off.
