Is there an option with sparkbooth dslr to manually click the shutter release button instead of waiting for the timed countdown to take the picture? Wanting to know because when photographing children I would like to click the shutter when they are looking at the camera and not wait for the timed countdown.
Thanks so much,

No, it is photo booth software, not a photography studio.
It is set up to take the number of photos you set up in the
layout at the timed setting that you set between each photo.

Ok, thank you.I understand it's a photo booth and not meant for a studio.
I was just wondering because I was thinking maybe I could use it and have
instant print outs. Thank you for your quick reply.

Sounds to me like you are looking for a solution like i started with some years ago.

I used an eyefi card in my dslr to send photos direct to my laptop, which in turn had a program on it which printed photos as they arrived in the folder.

I believe some cameras can be tethered direct to a pc, so would probably offer the same fuctionality without the need for wifi cards.

In truth though, kids have much more fun in a booth, and to save on wasted prints, simply set up a kiosk outside so that you, the kids or their parents can pick and print their favourite images. For this, i totally recommend SparkBooth.

    Hope this makes sense.

Thanks so much, I was just hoping I could use sparkbooth because I love
creative my own layout designs. Do you remember the name of the program
that you used to print automatically?
Thanks so much for your reply,

    Christina, Good thinking!
It think it would be a great idea to have the countdown go to 1 or even turned off completely. As you stated, the awesome thing about the development of DSLR is that all the cool functions of the photo booth application are also usable for standard photography. Although we are a photo booth company, we are now doing instant print santa photos, team photos etc. and sometimes you just need to snap the picture. I usually give santa the clicker and he would like it too!
