print to 4 X6 photo stock. Many photo booth companies
are using Dyesub printers like the HiTi or DNP that claim
speeds of 12-15 seconds...

We (A1 Photo Booth) use a HiTi 510L and are very happy
with the speed and the quality of our photos.

Other users I know who use DNP give the same comments
that they are fast and the quality is great.

These printers all use a Roll Stock set up for the paper
and auto cut every strip saving more time of manual cutting.

My 2¢ on printers

Don't know how these inkjet printers measure time, but mine is
advertised at 11 seconds, and it's more like a minute here in the
real world. Good to hear from somebody who is a human and not
selling the printer they're evaluating!

billwilliams839tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/352618732014-11-12T21:06:07Z2014-11-12T21:06:07ZIs Sparkbooth dslr compatible with a Brava 21 printer?

If the print is not coming out of the slot when the people walk
out of the booth, time slows down to a crawl
I can say when my partner wanted to switch from our Inkjet
printer
to the Dyesub, I thought he was crazy because the cost
difference
was $139 for our Inkjet to the $795-$1,200 for the inkjet....

I said we can get 4-5 inkjets for that much. He convinced me
it would be a better deal overall and NOW... I agree....
The cost of prints are now lower (about 1/2 the cost or more)
and as for the speed.... like day and night...
from the old 1 to 3 minutes to the now (real time) 20-30
seconds
I am 1,000% happier
? Human ? I am a Sparkbooth Support Robot... Thanks
