The DSLR license will work with the webcam-only version. When you use the DSLR license to unlock Sparkbooth, it will operate as the Premium version.

Premium has all the features of Personal plus more. Why do you only want
    the Personal version?

I am only using this once, and do not want to pay an extra $100 just to
plug in my DSLR as the camera of capture...

Oh, you are asking if a DSLR camera will work with the Personal license.
Sorry, I misunderstood. No, the personal license only works with webcams.

Also, the Personal version doesn't have all the features
that the Premium (webcam only) or the DSLR (both DSLR and webcam)
version have... (1) it doesn't have the ability to Create Custom layouts
and a lot of other features that are in the software.

When you download the software in Trial version
it will show all the features of the Premium and DSLR
and to understand what comes with each version,
you need to review the Buy Now page of the web site.
    https://sparkbooth.com/en/#buy

It shows side by side what each version has.
