my setup is a photo booth with an integrated WLAN-Router with connected USB stick (works as a NAS). My problem is that on every startup of the system, the photo folder path is reset to the default path on the Surface's local harddrive. Is it possible that the path will be persistently stored when Sparkbooth is terminated and Surface is shut down?

Best regards
and replace with a new one each time, the system
is going to revert to the default save location on the computer.

It must have it set this way because the photos must be saved
somewhere to do the sessions and if (by chance) you forgot
to plug in the flash drive, there would be no place to save the photos.

So the answer is NO Is it NOT possible that the path
will be persistently stored when Sparkbooth is terminated and
Surface is shut down?

thank you for your quick response.
The USB-Stick will not be removed, it is used as my built-in storage for providing the taken pictures to the printing kiosk. Is there any other setup possible to get full plug&play functionality?

FYI - I had a look on what happens when I disconnect the LAN-connection between the router and the Surface when Sparkbooth is running, take a picture and then reconnect again: There was no following malfunction, the application runs stable again.

With best regards
