I'm trying to find something simpler than lightroom to do photo booth with my DNP DS 80, which only prints 8x10.

What I want to be able to do is print 4-5 strips (4-5 different settings or groups) at once on an 8x10 sheet, then cut the sheet.

LR allows me to do that, but it's not a really simple user interface, and I can't just have "anybody" run the booth.

Will Sparkbooth allow multiple groups to print, or like DSLR booth, will it just give me 4 or 5 strips of the same 4 photos of each group?

Thanks

Bobtag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/470417402019-03-06T20:57:13Z2019-03-06T20:57:13Zprinting question

Sorry, Sparkbooth cannot "save them up" until it fills an 8x10 sheet. If you're doing this for fun (kids parties etc..) I can see trying to hold onto that printer. If you're doing real jobs I would strongly recommend a new printer.

Rob (ZCZ)tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/470417402019-03-06T21:19:15Z2019-03-07T13:49:59Zprinting question

Thanks for letting me know. I really don’t “do” photo booths, but occasionally someone asks me for it, and it’s a hassle every time. Not sure it’s worth a whole new printer for 1-2 jobs a year or so.

Thank you though. If I end up getting another printer, I think I’ll go with sparkbooth. From what I’ve seen, it looks easy, which is what I want/need.

Bob Kysertag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/470417402019-03-07T12:58:22Z2019-03-07T13:50:25Zprinting question

If I do purchase a 4x6 printer, will it “save up” and do 2 different strips, or are they always duplicate pictures if you do 2 strips instead of one?

As far as I know, there is only one printer on the market that will print 1 strip and its a brand new inkjet on the market (Primera IP60?)
You should look into the Canon Selphy, it's a very inexpensive dye-sub that is perfect for the 'home user' ....there is another very much like it but I can't remember what brand it was.

Rob (ZCZ)tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/470417402019-03-15T19:49:26Z2019-03-15T19:49:27Zprinting question

One last question (I hope) I’m looking into the Primera IP60 printer. Can I set up sparkbooth program to automatically print on one 2x6 strip if needed?

Thanks

Best to print the double strips and give away the extra strip to a guest/client.

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/470417402019-03-16T00:52:12Z2019-03-16T00:52:13Zprinting question

The new IP60 can print one 2x6 at a time.
