I can be more specific if you need instructions....or if I misunderstood.

Rob (ZCZ)tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/459596012018-08-24T17:38:11Z2018-08-24T17:38:12ZLive Mode

So does that mean by making this change, I will be able to see the people in the preview screen, that is blacked out in my attachment? And then adjust the zoom ring to zoom in or out if needed?? Because I hit the space bar and it takes the photo, it looks like I’m too close. I want to be able to see them on my laptop and know that the image is clear. I don’t want to take the picture and it be blurry.

Brandy tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/459596012018-08-24T17:51:34Z2018-08-24T17:51:34ZLive Mode

NO... that Preview is not for the live view... it is used for the layout image Preview and is RESET you will see a Shadow image that will be used for a Layout photo when you preview a layout in the layout editor.

If you can see the guest/user that is in the booth on your laptop screen (as Rob explained... you need to duplicate the screen from the laptop to your booth monitor) then you can make any camera adjustments with the zoom ring on your camera BEFORE you start the session.

I suggest if you are using a DSLR camera, you should start with it set up in FULL AUTO so that you can do your test session before the event starts.

Then as soon as the first photo is taken SWITCH the camera to manual, this will lock the setting that were set in full auto and it should be able to get all the rest of your photos in focus.

Making adjustments for each session can drive you totally crazy when using a DSLR camera... but having the camera set up correctly from the start, will save you head aches. FYI My 2 cents
