I understand your question. If you no longer have the camera, how
can you update the firmware?

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/454824372018-06-14T15:36:43Z2018-06-14T15:36:43ZCanon 40 issue

I don't have an answer to your final question. I'm curious about the firmware failure. Does the camera function at all anymore? what happens when you power up?

Rob (ZCZ)tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/454824372018-06-14T15:50:31Z2018-06-14T15:50:31ZCanon 40 issue

The camera is sitting in front of me.

But if you
are not seeing any issues without a firmware update and it still works with
Sparkbooth, then you might be able to skip the update and just ignore the
update notification.

John
