Cannot open the app

Hi
When I try and open the app, I get the message:

Sparkbooth closed unexpectedly.

What is the problem? can you please help.

    I was asking about the Mac OS version. Click the Apple menu in the top, and
    select About This Mac and the version is displayed as under the name of the
    OS

    Assuming you have a renewer version of Mac OS, go to System Preferences,
    then select Security & Privacy and enable Allow apps download from App
    Store and identified developers. See attached screenshot

    The version is MacOS Catalina
    version 10.15.7

    Thanks. Looks like there is an issue with the camera permissions. I will
    work on a fix for that tonight and get back to you. In the meantime, you

    Saw your message on Dropbox. Please let me know if that build works for
    you. When you start Sparkbooth, the operating system will prompt you to
    give permission for Sparkbooth to access the Documents folder and the
    camera. You will need to grant Sparkbooth access to each permission for it
    to work.

    It keeps taking 4 pictures, but I cannot see how to choose what I want to
    do.

    It keeps taking 4 pictures because that's the layout template you created are you asking how to create a layout or how to let your clients chose the layouts you created.

    It is PHOTO BOOTH software... it doesn't do videos
    If you want to create a Animated GIF using many photos
    (like the one I attached) you can set up the GIF Booth
    to allow the guest to choose a normal Layout or a GIF
    and when they do the GIF it can be set to take up to 20 photos.
    This "looks like" a video but it is a GIF (animated photo slideshow)
