what do you mean looks like it working fine A gif is a compilation of all photo taken you can control the speed of the gif see picture

Question 2. yes the Gif will create in the form of your template portrait or landscape but you need to understand a gif is only for the picture taken not the template

Jorge Olivatag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/474212502019-07-09T12:26:38Z2019-07-09T13:55:16ZGIF

Yes, a Gif can be done in Portrait... [ WRONG ]
That is Strange...
It appears you have something added that is semitransparent
as an Overlay image covering your layout

First, go to the Settings > About and
send a Request Support that will send more info
about your system and then can you go to the
Layout Editor and Export/Save the layout and ZIP it
and attach the Zip file here... I can then review what is wrong.

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/474212502019-07-09T12:39:11Z2019-07-09T12:39:11ZGIF

Done the request support & attached the layout editor.

Stevetag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/474212502019-07-09T12:41:03Z2019-07-09T12:41:03ZGIF

We have used the widescreen & square format. it work fine... except for the portrait.
I now understand that GIF's can not be done in Portrait
as I replied to your Support Request
I will add here for others to see why...

Not sure if there is a fix or not...
John will to review this

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/474212502019-07-09T14:03:48Z2019-07-09T14:03:48ZGIF

Using your layout I did it with Square photo boxes

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/474212502019-07-09T14:20:48Z2019-07-09T14:20:48ZGIF

Can you send a screenshot of the Settings > Savings settings?

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/474212502019-07-09T14:45:29Z2019-07-09T14:45:29ZGIF

do you mean this setting?

Stevetag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/474212502019-07-09T14:47:53Z2019-07-09T14:47:53ZGIF

Tks Joe. wide screen & square work perfect except portrait.

camera settings?
You can also uncheck the "Use Legacy" setting which uses a different GIF
encoder. That seems to work for portrait photos. It is a little slower to
encode, but it is a workaround for now.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/474212502019-07-11T12:40:43Z2019-07-11T12:40:43ZGIF

Hi John,

Yes, live view was rotated to 90 deg & if uncheck the "use legacy". it will take some time to encode (for the wide screen & square too).

anyway, have not try for portrait yet. will let u know soon.

and let me know if it works for you.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/474212502019-07-11T19:18:10Z2019-07-11T19:18:10ZGIF

Steve,

I did some major testing with Portrait photo boxes
and made a video showing GIF's will now work
in Portrait with and without Rotating the camera...
