Hi Sparkbooth,

Wil there be a tablet version available?
I would like to run Sparkbooth on my iPad or android tablet.
With using a DSLR or the onbpard front camera.

Best regards,

Eddy Vermeulen

    Hi Eddy,

Tablets do not have the abilities needed to run the full features of the Sparkbooth software and it is not likely a Tablet/Ipad version will be available any time soon.

We are looking into creating an Ipad / Tablet version (if possible) that would be limited on features due to above statement. NO we have no idea when and if it will be available... John's Chrystal Ball hasn't been working lately... I think it need new batteries.

    Yes offcourse,

It should be a more simple version of sparkbooth. No mirror options etc.
At this moment I'm looking for a professional version of a tablet
    photobooth version.
But there are not a lot of photobooth applications which supports enough

What about using Sparkbooth with Windows Surface Go (may be an option
    instead of a tablet)?
    Does the software runs smooth?

Yes, a Windows Surface Pro that meets
the Sparkbooth System Requirements as listed here
Premium (webcam version) System Requirements: Windows (7 or later) or Mac OS 10.7 or later, Webcam, 4GB or more RAM, and i3 processor or better (2.0 Ghz or faster) recommended
DSLR version System Requirements: Windows (7 or later), compatible Canon or Nikon DSLR camera, 4GB or more RAM, and Intel i5 processor or better (2.5Ghz or faster) recommended.
... will work fine for all the features we have to offer.

The reason you can not find a Tablet version software
that has all the features is a Tablet is NOT a full computer
system and it can not do all the things a full computer can.

    Hi Joe,

I checked the new Sparkbooth 6 software.
Do you know if there is coming a update in the future which will provide:
    Video and GIF files?
I also checked software like DSLRbooth. They are offering this feature. My
guest are often asking for this feature.

At this moment I'm using an ipad with Slideshow Photo Booth from Propfun.
But I want to use a better quality (web)camera instead of the frontcamera
    of the ipad.
But with this software many of my customers are using video feature
    escpecially at weddings.

So I hope this will be a feature which will be added in the future.

You can already make animated GIFs, go to Settings > Saving > enable

Video is not available and I do not think we will ever add it...
REASON: Especially at Weddings, the Band/DJ is too loud for any video messaging and over the past 4 years, fewer and fewer clients are asking for video in a photo booth. Those that want video messaging will have a video company capture those messages.

NOTE: It is called a Photo Booth... nothing to do with video. Guests take photos and get a photo strip. If video is what you MUST have, I suggest you have a second software available (as many photo booth companies do) to take care of the few people who require video messaging.
