the Surface Pro http://amzn.to/2qXffQo or Book http://amzn.to/2qyotl0
if you want to run it on a tablet.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/448445452018-03-06T11:55:30Z2018-03-06T11:55:30Zipads

I use the Acer R7 with touchscreen in tablet mode for Spakkbooth.
At first I set up everything for a Canon EOS 60D DSLR, but I'm missing the Liveview. That's why I now have my photo box with a Logitech Brio and I'm very excited. The picture quality is enough for fun photos.

Here is a link to the Acer R7

Looks like it would work very well.

Rob (ZCZ)tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/448445452018-03-06T13:47:08Z2018-03-06T13:47:08Zipads

The Acer Aspire R7 is equipped with a 1.8GHz Intel Core i5-3337U processor

NOTE you may have issues if you are using the Sparkbooth DSLR version that requires 2.5Ghz ... FYI

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/448445452018-03-07T07:13:42Z2018-03-07T07:13:42Zipads

Thank you very much, Joe.

No, my R7 with i5 processor and 1.6 Ghz runs very well with the DSLR (Canon Eos 60D).

How would the slow processor negatively affect?

Because it is underpowered and if you are going to use all the features that are available in DSLR (green screen etc) it could cause issues and cause the system an overload and crash during an event.

We list system requirements so that users know what will work and what to expect if they don't have what is required. YES there are 100's or more users out there running in less than required computers and not having any issues. But the main part of any photo booth is the computer running the system.

You could race in the Indy 500 in a VW Beetle
but you might not even make it to the finish line.
