But can they also be assigned to button press,
Yes, there are Keyboard short cut keys for all the controls
in Settings > Keyboard ... see attached
You must have them CHECKED to use them

You ask: kiosk will only operate one station? NO
You get 3 activations with a Premium and DSLR version
and you could use 2 of them for 2 Kiosk stations

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/434194932017-09-12T14:07:44Z2017-09-12T14:07:45ZRetake / keep option

Thanks for your rapid response.

(Years ago) I wrote to Sparkbooth, and was told that the customer 'session' could be started with a mouse click. (Hope that's still the case as that's the logic I've used in my photo unit!)

For simplicity, I want to keep keyboards out of the booth, (they can be
used on a kiosk) hence my idea of one key to start / keep, and the other
to retake.

On a slight tangent, I am writing a guide that tells people how to build
a photo unit, and how to build an enclosure for people to stand in. So
far, the latter are a modified pop-up marquee, and another with profiles
used to create flight cases. I'm now working on an enclosure based on
PVC pipes that fit into a box that stores the photo unit / enclosure in
a single flight case (1mt x 500mm x 500mm) that also doubles as the prop
table when sides opened out! The booth outside is decorated with
digitally printed shower curtains!

The book covers 250 pages+, and also includes event photography, school
photography, graduation and other ideas. I can send you a 'work in
progress' link to the photobooth section, and maybe in time you might
like to promote to your customers as an affiliate. (I will also be
developing software similar to ShotProof's expensive "Snappizzi" I got
it to work with "Zenfolio" ... then decided they were too expensive. In
UK, £240 a year!)

Chris Browntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/434194932017-09-12T14:20:57Z2017-09-12T14:20:57ZRetake / keep option

You asked:
started with a mouse click? - YES (left click starts a session)
You can use a wireless Presentation remote and use the Page Up/Down keys to do different functions. I use a wired 6 button controller to cover all the things I like to do during sessions. I wasn't asking to be affiliate for Sparkbooth,
rather, I was asking if YOU would care to promote my guide to customers
once I'd finished writing it.

Chris Brown
