Not sure about how common, but im building a portrait booth (but using widescreen format on sparkbooth) Now to mouth the camera upside down at the top will be easy, screw through the roof connected to the camera, to mouth it “normally” means a lot more work.. Is there an easy fix? A way to turn on the option for DSLR too?

Surrey FaceBoothtag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/424069672017-04-21T21:45:12Z2017-04-21T21:45:12Zorientation

If you are building a portrait booth, don't you want to just turn the
camera 90 degrees? You can already do that with 5.0. See

I was using widescreen mode so it was small and wide, let me dig out a photo of the booth

Surrey FaceBoothtag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/424069672017-04-21T21:52:21Z2017-04-21T21:52:21Zorientation

like this but the camera would be inside upside down, so a 180o rotation

Surrey FaceBoothtag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/424069672017-04-21T21:53:33Z2017-04-21T21:53:33Zorientation

Well, I will look into it. It was already on my list of features to
consider, but only 1 other person asked for it - so it has not been a high
priority.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/424069672017-04-21T21:55:11Z2017-04-21T21:55:11Zorientation

Cheers John!

Surrey FaceBoothtag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/424069672017-04-21T21:56:34Z2017-04-21T21:56:34Zorientation

I cannot say when it will happen though, since I am working on other higher
priority features.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/424069672017-04-21T21:59:52Z2017-04-21T21:59:52Zorientation

This was the photo I was looking for! It kinda just fell together there's a 1/4" screw in the perfect place. It's not the end of the world I just found some hot shoe tripod brackets so I suppose that way work (just thought I'd ask the question if it was something already available)

Appreciate there's tons of "more useful better" things to then this haha!

Keep it up. Thanks

Surrey FaceBoothtag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/424069672017-04-22T00:43:51Z2017-04-22T00:43:51Zorientation

So I looked into it, and it looks like it is simple to do enable the flip
camera 180 degrees since I already have the ability to flip it 90 degrees.
I will let you know when I have something for you to try - maybe in a few
days.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/424069672017-04-22T01:07:26Z2017-04-22T01:07:26Zorientation

Great thanks John!! Saves me so much rework.
But just to confirm there is no 90o option on the widescreen version (I'm not using portrait mode)

Under the camera settings, there is an option to flip the camera
vertically. See attached screenshot.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/424069672017-04-26T06:52:59Z2017-04-26T06:52:59Zorientation

Hi John,

Tried the “sparkboothdslr-setup.exe” version.

Vertical flip looks to work great. The “Originals” folder doesn’t flip it but I suppose the idea of this folder is to keep them standard?

Looks great! I noticed the red tint when taking a picture but worked out that’s a colour option (That looks good too!!)

Cheers

Sorry, about the red tint that was me testing the new flash setting. The
default should be white and alpha of 0.9. You can change it back under
camera settings.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/424069672017-04-26T15:50:17Z2017-04-26T15:50:17Zorientation

Yeah I found it. Looks great John. Appreciate it!
