Do you have the c920 plugged into a direct USB or is it a
multi-port?
...and is the USB a 2 or 3 type?

I do think using a multi-pot USB can cause issues with a lot of
things
and recommend not using one... I made sure the computer(s)
[laptops]
we use for the photo booth(s) have enough USB ports for all the
items
we are going to use.
In the past with an older laptop, it only had 2 USB ports and
we had to use a multi-port... which caused issues off and on
with
the devices we had connected to it.

Thanks for the quick reply! No multi-port, it's connected
directly to the computer. It is USB 3.0.

Dennis Kamtag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/377874342015-08-28T18:53:12Z2015-08-28T18:53:12ZLogitech C920 freezing after idling

I'm pretty sure it's your processor
I would recommend something with more horsepower.

Edit: after doing a little research, I see that your system
can't be upgraded. If you are happy with the frame rate/resolution
you are getting I would look into additional cooling for the unit.
That may stop the freezing.

Rob (ZCZ)tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/377874342015-08-30T11:38:09Z2015-08-30T11:38:10ZLogitech C920 freezing after idling

Dennis, are you saying the entire system is freezing up or is
just the webcam freezing? When this happens, do you have a keyboard
attached, and if so does it also not respond? If it's still alive,
can you press CTRL + ALT + DEL, select Task Manager and look at the
"Processes" tab, and see if anything is either "Not Responding" or
using a large amount of CPU or Memory?

Dane
