<p>John,<br>
Slighlty different question but related to same client...<br>
If I use the kiosk mode for email will the system log or keep a
copy of all<br>
the email addresses? They want to collect these too.<br>
Thanks<br>

I just did a quick test with the FB upload.<br>
I noticed that in my facebook profile the photo has "Sparkbooth"
shown beside the time stamp. Can this be changed or does this
require the "custom app" configuration?</p></div>eggwhitetag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/377863192015-08-29T00:41:13Z2015-08-29T00:41:13ZAuto Upload to Facebook<div><p>attached is a screen shot of the spot I am referring to...</p></div>eggwhitetag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/377863192015-08-29T01:40:28Z2015-08-29T01:40:28ZAuto Upload to Facebook<div><p>See<br>

There is a spot in the instructions for creating the custom app
that says<br>
the account being used to "log in" has to be in one of the "roles".
Does<br>
that mean that if my customer wants us to upload using their
facebook<br>
account that I would need to add that account to one of these
roles? If<br>
so, wouldn't that be the same now for the "sparkbooth fb app" that
is<br>
currently in place?</p>
<p>Also there was a time when your web site was doing a redirect on
the "Site<br>
URL" is this no longer working?<br>
I had it set for this, a long time ago when I first tested a custom
app:<br>
<a href="http://services.sparkbooth.com/api/oauth/1/redirect?r=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bluegrassphotobooth.com">
http://services.sparkbooth.com/api/oauth/1/redirect?r=http%3A%2F%2F...</a></p>
<p>Hey man I totally appreciate your expertise on this. I'm sure it
not your<br>
favorite thing! :-)<br>

info you<br>
sent.<br>
I used my own web domain names as indicated.<br>
I then added the app ID and secret info to SB in the premium
section custom<br>
facebook app. Then tested the test indicated successful.</p>
<p>I then added my generic facebook test user account to the "send
to account"<br>
section and tried a test upload. This failed, indicating "No
Publish<br>
Permissions"</p>
<p>I'm kind of lost at this point.<br>

#19</p></div>Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/377863192015-08-29T14:27:11Z2015-08-29T14:27:11ZAuto Upload to Facebook<div><p>I think I'm missing something...<br>
I can use a generic FB id to upload if I use the "Send to Account"
and don't have a custom app. However it uploads and has Sparkbooth
in the posting.<br>
I want to do the same thing, but not have sparkbooth in the
listing. What is different if I create a custom app using the
instructions versus not creating the app?<br>
I've read the Step 18 and Step 19 and there isn't enough
information there.</p>
<p>These steps make it seem like it shouldn't work now for the
sparkbooth/non-custom app setup. But it does.</p>
<p>I might be getting lost in the details: What I need to do, is
use my clients facebook ID and Password so the images automatically
post to their facebook account, then the guests can find and do the
normal facebook things with them.</p>
<p>Thanks for the email setup info...</p></div>eggwhitetag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/377863192015-08-29T15:03:33Z2015-08-29T15:03:33ZAuto Upload to Facebook<div><p>That is because the Facebook app that Sparkbooth uses has been
approved by<br>
Facebook for "publish permissions". If your custom app does not
need any<br>
approved permissions if you sign into Facebook using an account
that is<br>
under the Role tab for the app.</p>
<p>That information is not there in the instructions, because I do
not want to<br>
explain to everyone how Facebook works. It is way too complicated
and<br>
beyond my abilities to make clear.</p></div>Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/377863192015-08-29T15:06:21Z2015-08-29T15:06:21ZAuto Upload to Facebook<div><p>If you are interested in learning why it works the way it does,

So would the solution be, to add my
client's<br>
account to the admin section in the Facebook app, then use it in
the "send<br>
to account" section and test the upload?</p></div>eggwhitetag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/377863192015-08-29T15:55:21Z2015-08-29T15:55:21ZAuto Upload to Facebook<div><p>I've tested the concept of adding a "fakeClient" account to the
"testers" role. I think this works.<br>
Can you tell me if in Sparkbooth premium settings, will I need to
sign in or "validate" after a reboot? or does the AppID and Secret,
take care of that?</p>
<p>Thanks for the help John... confusing stuff for sure!<br>
