laptop. I was having issues with my wifi at the event. I will try
it again and report back.

Harrytag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/377533112015-08-25T20:19:24Z2015-08-25T20:19:24ZSocial Media Kiosk

i have tried it, i have a surface pro 2, works great.

richardflores14tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/377533112015-08-25T23:28:54Z2015-08-25T23:28:55ZSocial Media Kiosk

i used both an Acer touchscreen that has a Celeron based PC on a
stick attached, and a Dell Venue 11 Pro with an Atom CPU (very
similar to the the Surface 2 Pro), both running Windows, and
they're both perfect for Sparkbooth in Kiosk mode. Using WiFi
between the booth, the two systems running SB in Kiosk, and another
system driving either TVs or a projector (depending on the event),
images pop up within seconds on the kiosks, they swipe very
smoothly, and the upload function is (mostly) reliable, depending
upon the connectivity to the Internet. Guests use the full Kiosk
for Facebook and e-Mail uploading, and we typically use the Dell
Venue for reprints (larger groups) or to allow others to
view/upload photos when we get busy. I also tested it on a 7" $50
Winbook tablet, and it performed in Kiosk equally as well.

Danetag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/377533112015-08-25T23:34:37Z2015-08-25T23:34:37ZSocial Media Kiosk

Dane,
That's a bunch! I'll have to go look up some of that hardware now,
to see
what it will cost to get a test system set up.

I'd love to chat with you some time! Are you on Facebook?
I'm located in Europe, so my schedule's a bit earlier than most
here. As for Facebook or Skype, I personally do not use Facebook
(other than for business) as I have a general dislike/distrust of
them (but here, it's essential for business), but my wife uses it.
I do (like Joe) prefer Skype and Google (chat and hangouts). If
you'd like to chat some time, send an email to fun@fotobox.pt with your Facebook,
Skype or Google contact info, and one of us will add you as a
contact.

And thanks, Joe. I don't offer near the breadth of support you
and John do (it not being MY software), but I like to help when I
can offer something.

Dane
