without issues. I<br>
recommend creating a new post with your printer brand and model in
the<br>
subject, and see what settings they are using.</p>
<p>Are you using regular Sparkbooth 4 or Sparkbooth DSLR. In
Sparkbooth DSLR<br>
there is an option to "Print directly to Windows", try printing
with that<br>
option and see if it makes a difference.</p></div>Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/371544172015-06-17T21:02:41Z2015-06-29T11:02:51ZPrinting pixelation<div><p>I have used the printer for 100 events with sparkbooth and yes
been overall sucessfull. Ive just always felt the prints were too
dark. I did some experimenting and realized it was sparkbooth
creating the darkness in the photos, its not a huge issue but its
noticable. I really began to notice when I started using picpic
social and the pics were coming out much lighter when printed. I
changed a setting in the sinfonia CS2 properties from "Bicubic" to
"windows default" as previously stated. This fixed the darkness
issue, however it created this pixelation issue. I just thought
maybe it was a known issue since I have seen 3-5 threads about it.
Just can't understand why it prints one way from spark and another
way from windows. I am using the webcam version, so I am unable to
use the print directly from windows feature. I will take you
recommenation and make a new thread about my specific printer. As
always, thanks for the help john.</p></div>manderson0488tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/371544172015-06-17T21:05:44Z2015-06-17T21:05:44ZPrinting pixelation<div><p>Try downloading the DSLR trial and use the "Print directly to
Windows"<br>
settings. If it works, I can enable it in the webcam version of
Sparkbooth.</p></div>Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/371544172015-06-17T23:21:29Z2015-06-29T11:02:51ZPrinting pixelation<div><p>I'll give it a shot. Thanks!</p>

awesome. At first It wasn't doing strips but I went into windows
photo viewer and went to print screen like i was gonna print a
photo and then changed media type to 4x6(split). It saves this
change even when I restart. The only downside is I cant figure out
a way to adjust the margins if needed. If you add that feature to
webcam it would be awesome, or u could upgrade me to DSLR if u want
:)</p></div>manderson0488tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/371544172015-06-18T00:27:47Z2015-06-18T00:27:47ZPrinting pixelation<div><p>I will add that option to the webcam version, and send you a
build to try.<br>
Probably tomorrow.</p>
<p>Do you have a printer that cuts 4 x 6 into strips?</p></div>Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/371544172015-06-18T00:36:36Z2015-06-29T11:02:51ZPrinting pixelation<div><p>Thanks. Yes I do. It was just printing to the 4x6 as default
even with 4x6(split)(which is 2x6) set in the driver settings. When
I go to print from windows photo viewer I just changed it in there
to 2x6 split and it worked.</p>

<p>I installed it on my one booth. The print to windows feature
does NOT work. I select it in the preferences and then close out of
the settings box. When i go back to settings it is unselected. It
does not print from windows it still prints from SB.</p></div>manderson0488tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/371544172015-06-18T21:24:28Z2015-06-18T21:24:28ZPrinting pixelation<div><p>Can you send the sparkbooth.txt file in your Documents

I am using this "beta" build on my events this weekend I need a
backup incase things go south. Unless the windows print is the only
thig different and it should work fine without that selected if I
do run into problems.</p>

Ctrl+p and album print all working well. Prints look sooo much
better, can't believe I lived with tho pixelated prints for so
long. Cant wait to try it out this weekend. Is there any other new
features in this beta that I need to worry about stability wise
while using it out this weekend? have 5 events in 2 days, dont want
to run into issues.</p></div>manderson0488tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/371544172015-06-19T02:15:59Z2015-06-19T02:15:59ZPrinting pixelation<div><p>I would say to just test it. But here is a link to 4.1 with that

windows".</p>
<p>It is easy to see that the printing detail is a lot better. I
never thought my old pictures where so mushy, but now I have a
comparition, anyone can notice it.<br>
So, the detail is a lot better.</p>
<p>On the other hand, I found that the colors are a lot darker, and
the skin tone chenges a lot! I have not been able to change that,
even when going to control panel and changing the printing
preferences on the printer. It's as if windows prnting is directlly
to the printer, and bypasses the drivers.</p>
<p>Even with the less detail, I rather have the colors og the
regular sparkbooth.</p>
<p>Joca</p></div>jocatag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/371544172015-06-23T16:59:24Z2015-06-29T11:02:52ZPrinting pixelation<div><p>What printer do you have? Try accessing your printing
preferences from windows printing itself. Pull up a picture in
windows photo viewer, then click print. Pull up the page where you
select paper, media type etc. on bottom right corner there is s
blue link that says "printing preferences" or something along those
lines. Access that and check your settings through there. I found
this was the only way to adjust settings when printing with this
method. When I just adjusted settings via control panel it had no
affect.</p>

image trhow windows photo viewer and the colors are a lot lot
better!!</p>
<p>I have also seen, that it dosen't save that settings, so, I will
have to enter the settings manually everytime I start the
machine.<br>
One thing that we can't do is set the rulers, so the image must be
created with the cutting of the page in mind. In my case, it does
cut quite a lot!</p>
<p>WIll have to do some more experiences, but the diference is
quite amazing.</p>
<p>Thanks</p>
