advertising and the only way to do it is to charge by the picture.
I did something like this at our local town festival and it was
"not great".
We ended up booking a few jobs but didn't make back the space
rental fee....I know all advertising is costly but 3 full days of
heat and rain with paper curling and ink not drying in the humidity
was enough for us to figure out something else. By the end of 7
days you will want to jump into a woodchipper.
We charged $3 for a single sitting and $2 for reprints.

website. I can say though that I have never been impressed by a pay
per print system ever - except as a way to gain exposure for party
and event rentals.

Photo booths are fun for everyone when it's all paid for up
front!

eSportsPhototag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/157457522012-05-06T03:18:47Z2012-05-06T03:18:47ZHow much should we charge..?

If you are operating near me, you should charge two thousand
dollars!

scotttag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/157457522012-05-11T02:07:33Z2012-05-11T02:07:33ZHow much should we charge..?

I actually do fundraisers based on a pay per session rate. I
usually charge $5.00 a session. The results tend to vary... I find
it works best when one... you're on site for about 4 hours...
two... the event has about 300-500 in attendance... three...
advertise about a week out to those who will attend. I don't make a
lot with these, but I like helping out in the community.

I also did our local carnival and we ended up in the red :)

jcastro89tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/157457522012-05-11T02:31:35Z2012-05-11T02:31:35ZHow much should we charge..?

My advice..always get paid for service time and never per
picture. We discount selected charity events but we always charge to
cover supplies, labor and transportation. I hate to reveal too
much, but its pretty much common sense..If a potential client can't
cough up the fee, tell them to find a sponsor and you will put the
sponsors ad on the photos. We are doing about a dozen after grad
parties for high school this month and half of them had sponsored
layouts. One even got a funeral home to pay for the booth. A
nursing home wanted a couple of hours service and sold the ads to
vendors in about 5 mins. Thats one of the great things about
sparkbooth. The numerous layout options allow for ad space!
So once again...get paid!!! unless you are doing this for a
hobby.
