about to send an attendant on his first gig and dont need these
problems. lol

It finally fixed itself after about 10 minutes. email and
facebook were enabled. its not newest version its like X.49 i think
and the newest is X.59.

maybe it was a network issue? not sure.

manderson0488tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/351217542014-10-30T00:05:40Z2014-10-30T00:05:40Zsparkbooth frozen

Which email provider? When yo go to that page it will ping the
email
provider with your credentials to verify. It could be that their
servers
are slow. If it continues to happen, try opening Internet Explorer
if your
in Windows (or Safari on Mac) and clear the browser cache and the
SSL state
under Content tab.

You can also set the email provider to Send Photo Later, and
send the
photos later from the Send Photo Later queue.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/351217542014-10-30T17:28:02Z2015-06-29T11:02:45Zsparkbooth frozen

I think its Mandrill that I ended up using. It's been working
since that one time, so I will let you know if that happens
again,

but what if i lose internet connection and want to set it to
send later? wont I get stuck on that screen again since I know
longer have internet and its still trying to connect with the
server.

manderson0488tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/351217542014-10-30T18:10:31Z2014-10-30T18:10:31Zsparkbooth frozen

It should timeout immediately if you have no internet
connection. You can
just select "Send Photo Later" instead of Mandrill.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/351217542014-10-31T14:48:35Z2015-06-29T11:02:45Zsparkbooth frozen

John thanks for your concern in this matter. I Think you are
right about the internet connection being the culprit. Last night
at a school gig we were trying to connect to their wifi but hadn't
logged in yet through their website to get full web access. and it
was giving the same problem.

The other concern was the attendant called me about halfway
through the night and said that the software had stopped printing
and frozen on the "developing photos" screen. I am assuming this
happened because of the same issue, just concerned that the
software wouldnt print (2 times) and he had to reset the software
to get it working again. This isnt a feature I will normally have
activated on the main booth(going to have separate kiosk if
anything) just cant have printing freezing up on me lol.

manderson0488tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/351217542014-10-31T15:26:56Z2014-10-31T15:26:56Zsparkbooth frozen

The printing issue could be a bug in the Adobe AIR framework.
You can try
this beta to see if it resolves the problem

https://www.dropbox.com/s/hp3tw6miwctqo69/sparkbooth-setup.exe?dl=0

Could you sent the sparkbooth.txt file in your Documents folder
so I can
verify what the problem was?

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/351217542014-10-31T15:33:54Z2015-06-29T11:02:46Zsparkbooth frozen

The attendant is coming over now to drop off the booth so I will
pul that file when he gets here and send it to you.

I dont really have time to test a beta right now... the printing
was working fine 99% of the time it was juts that 1 time so it
would be to hard for me to download the beta and properly test
since he has another gig with same booth tomorrow. Ive also never
had a single problem like that on my other booth and they are
running the same software and version i beleive.

manderson0488tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/351217542014-10-31T17:23:34Z2015-06-29T11:02:46Zsparkbooth frozen

Hey John. Here is the text file. He said it happened 4 times in
the night and when he restarted the program it printed the last
strip. WE just updated to latest version... So hopefully no more
problems. if theres anything else he can do to optimize things
before tomorrows event please let me know.

Also, I really love Sparkbooth, I think its the best software
out there and I really appreciate the amazing support from you and
Joe. Keep up the good work.

manderson0488tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/351217542014-10-31T17:27:47Z2014-10-31T17:27:47Zsparkbooth frozen

Nothing was attached.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/351217542014-10-31T17:39:36Z2015-06-29T11:02:46Zsparkbooth frozen

Thats weird... trying again

the photo
album? Were you just pressing the album button or were you in photo
kiosk
mode?

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/351217542014-10-31T17:58:32Z2015-06-29T11:02:46Zsparkbooth frozen

When I first got there to help him set up I tried printing from
the album and nothing happened.... After that everything seemed
fine. I then left for another gig. Later in the night he texted me
saying he was having printing issues. He stated it was only after
it was done taking pictures and would get stuck on the "developing
photos" screen. He didn't report any problems with the album
printing.

manderson0488tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/351217542014-10-31T18:00:52Z2014-10-31T18:00:52Zsparkbooth frozen

Ok, can you do me a favor and try deleting the sparkbooth.txt

ask him to plug it in at his house and do that. Is it ok if he does

He said when he printed from album it
indicated that it was sent to printer, but no new sparkbooth text
