That is done in the Screen Settings menu F2 or Ctrl+2
I can show you if you have and use Skype, I can share my screen
(no video needed) and walk you thru many features users seem to
miss.
If you have Skype, send me a Contact Request in Skype to
my user name ccuvideo and we can get connected.
I have done this to help people around the world...
Let me know or I can type me fingers off here... LOL

Thanks so much for the quick reply! Unfortunately I don't use Skype anymore. For some reason the program was causing me a lot of issues with my computer so I had to uninstall it.
I do know which screen you are talking about, and being able to change the start text. I guess I wasn't clear in my original post - my bad. What I'm curious about is how do you get Spark Booth to respond to a voice command? Having the guests say something such as "I'm ready" would be really neat instead of them pressing a button to begin. So that's what I'm wondering about is how to do the voice command and have Sparkbooth begin the session when someone says that command.

Thanks for your help. We've been Sparkbooth users since 2011 and
it keeps getting better and better with each version.

I tell everyone who goes in the booth for photos
It's voice activated... just say "I'm Ready" and I will
activate it...

No it's just me with a controller activating the START
I have a wired rollerball mouse and a wired 6 button controller
that I have the buttons configured for different commands...
#1-Start - #2-Print #4-Cancel etc...

It is a life saver from a touch screen where you are
continually
cleaning it OR REPLACING IT from people who hit/smack the
screen...

Jorge in Miami connected me to this 6 button controller (I have
2)

It is out of stock now but I plan to get another couple for
backup
Yes, Sparkbooth has a fantastic creator/owner John Wu and he is
always adding new features that his users are requesting...

Keep in touch I'm Ready

it

One other thing we do is give everyone in the booth a photo
strip
doesn't matter if there are 2 or 12... they all get a
strip
because...
the people in the booth are your next possible
clients/customers
the better you take care of them, the more likely they will hire
you
and the people who hired you are seldom in the booth more than a
couple of times

NOTE: say I have 9 people in the booth, when they come out
I have 2 photo strips and I take one of them and set it down on the
table
for the client (B&G?)
(I have already hit the PRINT button 4 times) and I then hold up
the second one
and say Do ene meni mini mo... and they look at me
like I am crazy (which I am)
so I say really, I have 1 and if you do ene meni mini mo,
you can have it...
this delays them for enough time till they finally do it and when
they are done
I hand them all the photo strips that have printed.
...thru out the evening, others chime in with the ene meni mini mo
fun !!!

I love to interact with the guests and this has helped promote
our business
and I get a tip 80% of the time at every event we do..

using hp L2105 or the newer model HP L2206 touch screens with out
any issues or failures. They are reasonably priced and completely
plug and play, even on our 1 old vista machine. What we found is
that guests will kick, punch, and slam a start button but will
always just press the touch screen where indicated. The first 5
booths we had used start buttons but have all been updated to the
HP/Compaq 21" t/s. An added bonus is they are flat mount fronts so
no casing needs to be removed for permanent in cabinet
mounting.

briantag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/350353242014-10-28T22:34:24Z2014-10-28T22:34:24ZQuestion for Joe from A1

Also, check out www.lightobject.com. They have
touch screen overlays (USB connected) for 17, 19, and 22 LCD's in
both 4:3 and 16:9. I just bought a 17" 4:3 for 80.00. I used it at
an event this weekend and it worked perfect. And I agree with
Brian, people punch the buttons but are gentle with the screen.

jasontag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/350353242014-10-29T04:42:57Z2014-10-29T04:43:00ZQuestion for Joe from A1

Thanks jason! I may dig out those 19" 16:9's I replaced and use
those for some future builds with that device. I had never seen
those.

briantag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/350353242014-10-29T10:58:44Z2014-10-29T10:58:44ZQuestion for Joe from A1

I was a little skepticle when I got it due to the price but it
works like a
charm. Just keep in mind it is literally a sheet of touch screen
glass that
has to be integrated into the lcd. But for the price it works.
