I was asking John a question to, On my laptop with Dual Core it is
just perfect, On my mini notebook Samsung G10 it is still perfect
and I connected that up to bigger screen, but I have another
Machine which is touch screen - 3ghz - 2gb ram - separate graphics
card with 512mb of video and my problem was which was just on
Friday night, Basically on the second picture when the person had
moved they were still in the first position, I did go to the camera
settings which you should do to and lower down the video size to
about 640 and leave the frame rate at 20 but when you click apply
see what is being displayed before you click close what is the
average frame rate you are getting 15 or 11 or 20 etc on my big
laptop I get 20, mini laptop I get about 14-15 - but on the other
machine I have which is touch screen but not a dual core I get
11-13 which is too slow so I am thinking of taking it apart and
putting in a mini pc into the unit and making sure its dual core
etc.
Hope this helps.
it narrowed down to windows updates. I noticed if the updates are
not fully installed and the computer restarted it will cause the
flickering, jumping or tearing as it has been called. My solution
was to turn off any and all updates. I figured this computer is
solely used for Sparkbooth. I have not had any problems since. The
problem was manifesting on my older pc units and the new mini-pc.

JOHN ANY IDEAS

nemo2475tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/139923582012-03-05T00:54:06Z2012-03-05T00:54:06ZAdvice for flickering video?

Wow, this issue is such a problem. It doesnt stop flickering.
Now it even delays the printing. It tries to print and it seems
like the data or the connections is slow or losses its signal. This
is driving me crazy. Anyone any ideas. It seems like the spooling
is not working fast enough.

nemo2475tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/139923582012-03-05T22:11:25Z2012-03-05T22:11:25ZAdvice for flickering video?

I solved the issue on my computers by completeing all updates
that are waiting to be downloaded. Some have to be completed
manually. Upon completion and before restarting computer, set
updates to never, then restart. This may be aproblem if you use
computer for other tasks than photobooth operation.

tubguy
