to Manual
mode and Manual focus.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/326434752014-04-21T20:02:13Z2014-04-21T20:02:13ZDSLR delay prior to count down

John,

I talked to Ed and it is not that problem...

I am busy catching up on editing at the moment and I need to
review this with you, there seems to be s bug/glitch in the DSLR
when using it with a webcam and causing a delay after Start is
selected and prior to the countdown starting...
Looks to me like the DSLR software is checking to see what camera
is selected starting with DSLR and then recognizing that the WEBCAM
is the choice of camera selected and it is doing this for every
time a session START is clicked... causing a delay prior to the
countdown to take the photo.
We should talk so I can explain better... let me know when the best
time for us to Skype...

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/326434752014-04-21T20:58:11Z2014-04-21T20:58:11ZDSLR delay prior to count down

Sorry, I misread your post. I do not see any delay in webcam
mode after
pressing the start button or spacebar. Can you send me your
settings? Go to
Settings > Premium > Import/Export > press Export

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/326434752014-04-21T21:08:22Z2014-04-21T21:08:22ZDSLR delay prior to count down

Ed will need to send you his Config
settings
I have not used it enough to have enough data...
but there were a couple posting regarding this and
after talking to Ed (via Skype) I think it has something to do
with
the integration of the DSLR that is causing the delay.
There is no delay in regular 4.0 but Ed noticed a 3-4 second
delay
when he uses the DSLR with the webcam and the Start button is
clicked
before the actual Countdown starts.

This could confuse the users/guests that hit the Start button
and
nothing happens for 3-4 seconds...

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/326434752014-04-22T00:45:03Z2014-04-22T00:45:07ZDSLR delay prior to count down

I'm using alternate of both in my SB DSLR. So far, immediately
after I clicked "Start" it prompts "Here we go" voice. Let me try
to see whether I can get it to delay to imitate the situation.

syunichi2000tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/326434752014-04-22T01:20:51Z2014-04-22T01:20:51ZDSLR delay prior to count down

This appears to no longer be an issue. I updated versions today
and all
subsequent testing is starting perfect, with no delay after the
button
press.

eggwhite
