I am looking for any feedback on the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910. An example of an image at full resolution. I would like to know if it is worth purchasing?

Cheers,

De

The C910 is a great webcam if not the best out there. As compared to other webcams....not digital cameras.

Its very hard to get a great picture. Lighting is the key and you also need a good computer.

With what settings you use this camera (photo size / frames per second)?
and what is the key for the lighting?

We use both the 9000 and the c910 webcams for our business. Although the c910 produces a clearer image and a slightly better frame rate, i usually avoid the c910 for color events. Especially if an inexperienced attendant is on duty. This is because the 910 requires a lot of fine tuning to get really good color photos. We always slightly overlight. Then, using logitech software, turn off ritelight, and uncheck auto for exposure and gain. Adjust manually from there using only exposure and gain. Never brightness or contrast. Most importantly, you must turn off the auto white balance and slide button over about 1/4 from the left. If not anyone wearing blue can wreck the photo color. Keep in mind we only use a black background in our booths. These settings usually will need to be readjusted several times as room lighting changes even slightly. Of course auto focus always off. B & W is never a problem, and doesn't require this tweaking. The 9000 is basically plug and play.
