I create my templates in Photoshop. I set the size as 4 x 6 and / or 800 x 1200 px. When I load the template to the program it tells me I need to make it 800 x 122. And there is area that shows up on the photoshop canvas that is outside the print area. What should the canvas size be set at?

I mistyped, it should read 800 by 1200,

The Photoshop image size should be 800 x 1200. All photo layout backgrounds
should match the size of the photo layout.

Maybe that is my problem. I know my canvas size is correct. Let me check the image size. Thank you

make a trial shot without the layout using sparkbooth. Use the saved images as yout template. That will make sure you have the same size as sparkbooth.
