I have recently purchased your software. It is awesome. I do have a question though. I have a upcx-1 printer from sony and the photo filmstrip size is a 1x4 duplicate 4"x8" (2UPC-48TS). How can I use this paper within your program? It is already pre perforated and is widely used by other photo booth software. Thanks, Ron

just wondering if you had given any thought to my question? I haven't received a response yet. I don't want to be a pain but I would like to use my photo paper if it is possible or if it will be possible. Thanks.

Most of the photo layouts in Sparkbooth are designed for 4 x 6. So there
currently is no option for 4 x 8.

Would you be able to send me a scan and measurement of the paper? I might be
able to add a layout for it.

Thanks that would be awesome if you could as I already own thousands of prints worth of this paper. Check out the link below for more information on this paper, I think it will explain everything you need to know. It is dye-sub paper so there are no borders to work with. It is a true 4 x 8 sheet with a perforation at 2" across so you wind up with (2) 2" x 8" strips.

I think this will help you out. It is dye sub paper so there are no borders to deal with.

I think this will help you out. It is dye sub paper so there are no borders to deal with except the 2" perforation line in the middle of the sheet.

But can you verify that the paper is exactly 4" by 8"? There is some paper
out there where the measurement is rounded up or down, so the actual size is
    slightly different.

Your Welcome!! and yes exactly 4" by 8". It is rolled media and the printer cuts it to length. But the width of the media is exactly 4" wide. I just measured it with a caliper to be sure. Thanks!!

    Hi Ron,

Can you try this out for me? There are 2 new layouts. They are named "2 x 4
    Duplicate, 4 x 8 Portrait" and "2 x 3 Duplicate + Logo, 4 x 8 Portrait"

    Hi John,
I just had a chance to test the formats you sent me. It keep telling me
that everything is ok but nothing ever printed from the printer any time I
have tried. My printer works with all my other programs so I an guessing it
is not the printer. Maybe you can figure out why, I am stumped.

So are you saying it prints with the other layouts, and not the new layouts?

Is it set as your default printer. I have noticed that spark booth always prints to the default. Also after making this change, you need to close and reopen the program.

Sorry for the delayed response again. I figured out the problem. I was also using a secondary monitor at the same time and with it using another program to run a slide show of all of the individual picures saved to a different folder on thatsecondarymonitor. The laptop was only upgradable to to 2 gigs of RAM. It was just taking forever to process the pictures. I have since purchased another laptop with 4 gigs of ram and low and behold the pictures print in seconds. And by the way I am still running all of the other software at the same time. Thank you for the updates and adding the 4 x 8 formats for me. You are a great business owner and I will tell everyone I know to try your software.
