RE: How does the greenscreen effect work?
- You need to have a croma key green background curtain and lighting set up to do green screen. You need to make adjustments in the camera setting for the green screen to be set correctly.
RE: Is it green screened during the picture or afterwords manually?
- It can be shown during or after... depending on your computers ability to process it corretly.
RE: Are the green screen backgrounds customizable?
- You can add any image to fill the background
RE: Can you post on Instagram?
- If sending to Instagram, you will need to select the proper paper size the Instagram allows when creating a NEW layout - we have a Portrait and Landscape layout sizes in the paper selection when you are creating a new layout from scratch.
I highly suggest that you FIRST download the software
for the camera type you will be using (Premium=webcam
DSLR for Canon or Nikon from the list of cameras on the
DSLR page of the web site) and use it in TRIAL mode
to do all your testing for 30 days free...
NOTE all photos taken during Trial mode will have a watermark
on them that can never be removed. NEVER use the Trial mode
for any event. It is only for testing the software before making a purchase.

If you are going to use a DSLR camera for green screen you should be fine but make sure your PC meets the requirements to run the DSLR. if you're going to use the webcam we found that the only webcam that works with green screen is the C922 or Logitec Brio. like joe explains green screen is not easy and you do require lots of testing before you offer green screen to your customers. the below samples were done with a logitec c922.
