Send it here... like you did the other PHOTO you sent
but send the actual image file that you printed.

The kiosk only sends the image to your printer
and your printer prints it so you need to make sure
your printer is set to print the same size as your images.

If you send a 4X5 image to a printer set up with 4X6 paper
it will (normally) print like your image on the left.
If you go direct and tell the printer to print full sheet
it will FILL (streeeech) the image like you have on the right.

I created my picture in sparkbooth (I am just doing the 10 day

sparkbooth settings to 4x6 but I still keep getting that "FILL
(streeeech) the image " you are talking about above. So on my 4x6
paper I am just getting like one big picture of myself rather then
3 or 4 little ones.
Do you know what the problem might be?

Meagan Eng tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/262357642013-04-05T11:15:57Z2013-04-05T11:15:57ZPrint Issue

Sorry Joe.. for mixing up names

Here it is

Davetag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/262357642013-04-05T13:15:43Z2013-04-05T13:15:43ZPrint Issue

Well Dave,

I can tell you that your photo image is not the correct
aspect ration for a true 4X6 photo print...
The full size of the image in pixels is 2448wX3264h
(at 300dpi)

This is converted to the divisible width and height for a
300dpi photo of 4X6 inch = 1350wX1800h / 1200wX1600h
(NOTE: 1800 pixels would be the correct 6" height but this is
too wide for the 4" width needed)
If we use 1200 pixels for the 4" width = 1200X1600 that would
make it 200 pixels short. Leaving it with the unprinted white
area at the bottom...

Yea I know all these numbers can be cofusing but we don't
do the calculations, the printer does and you can set your
printer
to print to fit which (in your example on the right) it is
stretching
the height by 200 pixels. Not the true photo as taken.

I hope this helps

Using Sparkbooth, you can select the layout you want and
it will create the print out to be sent to your printer with
the
3 or 4 images as set in your layout. Sparkbooth puts all the
photos that were taken in each session and creates the
design layout that is sent to your printer.

...did that answer your question(s)?
Joe Connell

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/262357642013-04-05T13:33:41Z2013-04-05T13:33:41ZPrint Issue

dubbble oops.... More info may be needed
here

The Kiosk doesn't create the 3 or 4 photos to a print out.
It only can monitor any folder with images and prints,
uploads/emails them as they were actually created.

You need to use the Sparkbooth photo booth program
in order to get the 3 or 4 layout design(s) created and
those would be the image/photos that would be placed
in a folder for the Kiosk to be selecting from.
Which will then print out the 3 or 4 photos on the 4X6 paper
with your printer.

I tink dat covers it now

SO what you are saying is once I buy the program I will no
longer have this problem?

I have set my printer settings in Sparkbooth tp "automaticly
print" so I take my 3 or 4 photobooth pics and then they
automaticly print but when they print I only get a big stretched
blown up one, not the 3 or 4 that I took.

I am just wondering if there is a something I am not setting
right or if this is just what happens when you are running the test
program?

Let me know. Thank you for your help :)

Meagan Eng tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/262357642013-04-05T15:35:26Z2013-04-05T15:35:26ZPrint Issue

NO... I am not saying " once I buy the program... "
The Trial version works just the same as the paid for version,
it only adds the Water Mark to the printed photos.

So purchasing it will not make any differance...
do I suggest you Purchase Sparkbooth -
YES

But you should make sure it works as you expect it to
before making that purchase....
If you have Skype on your computer, (and know how to use it)
you can contact me with my user name ccuvideo and I can add you
to the contacts and possible talk you thru all the steps
and NO VIDEO NEEDED... just talking and sharing screens.

Texting messages can take hours/days/weeks to do something
as simple as setting it up and learning it. I have helped many
here
via Skype and even turned that traing into a few of the
Tutorials
John has on the web site.
