you're separating kiosk mode into a separate activation. I don't
think this is fair considering when I purchased it, I could use
sparkbook and kiosk mode using 1 activation.

paul.alfanotag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/259952022013-03-20T22:58:47Z2013-03-20T22:58:47ZKiosk Mode shouldn't take a full activation.

Then do not use the Kiosk app. It is optional.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/259952022013-03-20T23:29:37Z2013-03-20T23:29:37ZKiosk Mode shouldn't take a full activation.

It was my understanding that Kiosk Mode was going to be removed

I have held back on replying to your message here
but I don't think you understand the Kiosk set up.

It was always part of the Sparkbooth program
to be used in the same computer along with using
the Sparkbooth photo booth program. So only the
one activation was required to use it that way.

BUT, if you wanted to use it as a true Kiosk program
that would require you to load the full Sparkbooth software
that included the Kiosk program into another computer,
that would require the use of another activation code.

That was always the way before the Kiosk program was to be
separated into a separate individual program that also requires
the use of an activation code in order to use it.

So this separation really doesn't change the number
of activations you will need in order to use it.

Look at it this way
You have choices:
1) Do not use the Kiosk app
you will have 3 activations to use for what ever you want
... 3 Sparkbooth photo booth programs
... 2 Sparkbooth PB + 1 Layout Creator
2) Don't update past version 3.6 - just like before
... Kiosk is still usable but if installed in another computer ...
you will still need an activation to use it separately
[NOTE: this last option is a bit rude on my part and I
apoligize
for even adding it, please remember I am just another user like
you]

3) Search the internet for a photobooth program that offers
the same features available with Sparkbooth and maybe
that company can provide you a software system that
will never get better with new features added on a timely
basis.

This is the real world of computer technology...
it's called keeping up with what customers are asking for
and providing software products that are being requested.
Not everyone will be happy with whats new and improved.

I honestly hope you can see we should thank Mr John Wu for
opening this Support section that is directly connected for
help with questions and answers and listening to our
suggestions
in order to improve his Sparkbooth software program.

There are few companies today that give this type
of customer support any more and I for one am glad
I am using his software.
