With a budget of under $200 you are limited to an ink jet
printer and I had used the Epson Charm printer for well over 2
years. Worked great and the only draw backs were you can only load
20 4X6 photo paper sheets at a time and sometimes when there is
only 3-5 sheets left it can jam... simple unjam and may have to
reprint the last session layout... doesn't happen too often but can
be annoying when you have a line and busy with the people. You will
also have to manually cut the 4X6 sheet(s) to 2X6 if you are set
for the double strip layouts.

That's my 2¢ hope you get more from others

photo ink jet printer it loads up to 100 sheets of 4x6 rear loader
the colors are excellent never jam on me and I get the inks from
ebay for $1.00 each color, carrier holds 5 inks 2 blacks 1 blue 1
magenta 1 yellow and I get about 75 prints before I have to reload
a color depending on your color coverage.

Jorge Olivatag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/309366222014-01-08T19:43:36Z2014-01-08T19:43:37ZPrinter Favorite for Wedding Photobooth?

Where are you getting inks for a $1 and how does the photos come

I use a lots of color on my background template so depending on the
color if its red or blue that the one you will run out first I did
this party see sample we did 110 prints and I only had to change
the yellow once the whole night. I buy the paper from ebay in bulk
it runs around 0.2 cents per 4x6 sheets but now am using a sub dye

any kind of photobooth product. I am trowing a 50th birthday party
for my husband and I thought it would be a lot of fun.
I have so many questions. If you would not mind answering them that
would be awesome. If not, it is cool too.
Do I need a camera for my computer? I am guessing I cannot use the
little tiny peephole thing on the top of my laptop.
I have a Epsom Expression Ink Jet printer is that ok to use? I
don't really have money to spend on a new printer. I can just get
the ink off ebay, which I had no idea about. THANK YOU. I have been
spending huge money getting ink. This think sucks ink like
crazy.
Do I need extra lighting? I am guessing yes.
And if you wouldn't mind telling me what size photo paper I
need.

Thank you,Sorry I am nervous about buying this program. I was
thinking about getting the cheapest one just because it is for a
birthday party. But I might do the step up. I can see how this
might become a popular thing to do at all our parties. Any
suggestions.
No obligations to get back to me.

I do not think that model would be very good
1.3mp is about what you would get with a web cam
that is built into a laptop computer and they do not produce good

As suggested here...
Logitech 900, c910 and c920 work best

You can get a longer USB cord for your usb button,
it will need to be a usb with a MALE end and a FEMALE end
(also called a USB extension cord)

What do you think of this printer? Epson PictureMate before I

We used the Epson PictureMate Charm printer for a long time
(about 2 years) and it worked great with Sparkbooth. The only
reasons we switched to a Dyesub printer is the photo paper is on a
roll with 330 to 700 prints and it auto cuts the 2X6 photo
strips.

The Epson was a work horse and should work well for you.
NOTE it can jam now and then as all printers can
do that are not roll feed photo paper... we used the 300 and the
225 and suggest you save your money and get the 225... you don't
need that larger screen that's on the 300.

Let me know if you have any questions

should get the $135 or the $55 package.I am not doing this as a
business but I love pictures. So I am wondering do I really need
the $135 package? There are two features on the $135 package that I
am wondering about if I really need?
1 Create your own photo layouts with integrated Layout Creator
2 Create printing and uploading station with intergrated photo
Kiosk
Do I need these things? ahhhhh............Thanks for the help

April Levintag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/309366222014-02-01T18:08:21Z2014-02-01T18:08:21ZPrinter Favorite for Wedding Photobooth?

April,

The Personal version ($55) doesn't have the ability to CHANGE
any
of the layout designs (you can only use the layouts that are in the
software)

If you are sure that you will not need any layout design that is
not in
the Personal version (no single full page layout) and you do not
plan
to use as a paying business, then all you need is the Personal
version.

The photo kiosk is nice when you want to have a separate
computer that can
be used to print extra copies and upload photos... all while the
photo booth
computer is in action making those photos.

Your choice....
IMO the Premium version makes it more creative for anyone who
would like to have super special layouts with the photo boxes
tilted;
over lapping; and assorted sizes within a single layout....
you could even have one photo upside down or sideways
...just my 2¢
