<p>Here is my 2¢'s on your questions:<br>
• <em>Do you recommend using the laptop taking the photos for
printing photos for the album with additional photos printed at the
kiosk?</em><br>
Yes, I think keeping the photo booth running as normal printing the
photo strips (2) one for the client that has hired you and one for
a guest works best (for me). Additional photos can be printed at
the Koisk (usually your client has paid an additional charge for
extra prints)</p>
<p>• <em>Should all photo printing be performed at the
kiosk?</em><br>
No? / Maybe ?... Keeping the booth running as I stated above works
well ... but if you want it to run faster, you can skip the
printing in the booth and direct the guests to your Kiosk station
for their prints, that could be better. Try it both ways and give
us your feed back... it may be a good idea</p>
<p>• <em>Which location do you recommend having the clients
enter their email address and Facebook postings?</em><br>
<strong>ALWAYS (IMO) at the Kiosk</strong> , doing it in the booth
holds up the line and those people in line are your possible next
client/customer... you want to keep it running as quickly and easy
as possible. Waiting for the people in the booth to type in emails
will only slow down the booth operation and p!ss off the people
waiting.</p>
<p>Well, that is my thoughts on your Kiosk questions</p>

this and need an incentive to get the business. I plan to have two
printers and the kiosk at all functions.</p>
<p>If I give the client a photo from the primary laptop, I want to
get him/her to log on to Facebook. There is a good chance I will
lose that opportunity if they don't go to the kiosk for a second
photo. I am thinking about having the email capability at the kiosk
and Facebook at the first station. Your thoughts?</p>
<p>Also, what happened to mailchimp? I don't see it in the kiosk
software</p></div>jimrobertson01tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/279660282013-07-26T03:18:43Z2013-07-26T03:18:43ZPhoto Kiosk Setup<div><p><em>ummm</em> ...</p>
<p>Regarding:<br>
<em>I am thinking about having the email capability at the kiosk
and Facebook at the first station. Your thoughts?</em><br>
As I stated, making the people in a photo booth line wait for the
people in the booth to type in emails will only slow down your
booth and (IMO) will cause you to get bad reviews from the users of
your booth. These are the people who you want to PLEASE on the spot
with a photo booth expierence that they enjoyed at the event they
attended.<br>
Having the Kiosk in addition to give them the opportunity to Print
extra copies, upload to FB/Twitter/etc and even email is a Major
BONUS the guests will use.<br>
I only think you need to keep in mind, your only initial costs are
Paper and Ink... the more you Print, the less you make and giving
away the farm will not grow your business... UNLESS your price is
high enough (or at least equal to) other PB companies in your
area.</p>
<p><em>Also, what happened to mailchimp? I don't see it in the
kiosk software</em><br>
I don't have my PB laptop opened at this time but I am sure John
has it in there somewhere...</p></div>Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/279660282013-07-26T21:14:13Z2013-07-26T21:14:13ZPhoto Kiosk Setup<div><p>Joe- Thank you. You are always a wealth of information. After
thinking it over, it's best to do all of the extra printing, email
and Facebook at the Kiosk station. I am still looking for ideas to
improve on my work. Lines for photos at my last two events were
much too long. Using the Kiosk station as it was designed will
allow for more photos and happier customers. Guess we all have to
start somewhere. Three weeks ago I didn't know what a Kiosk photo
station was. I down loaded the software a couple months ago but
didn't look at it until earlier this week.</p>
<p>All of us really appreciate your help.</p></div>jimrobertson01tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/279660282013-07-28T00:24:00Z2013-07-28T00:24:00ZPhoto Kiosk Setup<div><p>Sorry, I am not really sure how to answer this question. Those
are all<br>
operational issues rather than software questions. I guess you
should push<br>
as much of those operations to the kiosk rather than the photo
booth if<br>
your photo booth line becomes too long.</p></div>Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/279660282013-07-28T14:07:08Z2013-07-28T14:07:08ZPhoto Kiosk Setup<div><p>Hi John,</p>
<p>Thank you for the help. My event, yesterday, went very well. I
am doing my best to use a wheel that works and not reinvent it from
scratch. I am very good at creating square wheels before eventually
getting everything right.</p></div>jimrobertson01tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/279660282013-07-28T14:34:49Z2013-07-28T14:34:49ZPhoto Kiosk Setup<div><p>Hi Jim,</p>
<p>Your reply to John confuses me a lot...<br>
Can you explain your Thank you to John's reply<br>
when he didn't understand your question and I think<br>
you were thanking Joe (me) but what are you taking about<br>
reinventing your square wheel... <strong>R U Punking
me?</strong><br>
<img title="Smile" alt="alt text" src=

Did my (Joe) information help you in any way? and if not<br>
what more do you need to understand. When my wheels<br>
don't roll smoothly... I get fix a flat, works 4 me</p>

<p>So you saying that it was not an issue anymore?</p>
<p>John</p></div>Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/279660282013-07-28T17:15:43Z2013-07-28T17:15:43ZPhoto Kiosk Setup<div><p>Hi John,</p>
<p>I was just asking a question and never considered it to be an
issue. The square wheel I reference was related to my inexperience
in this field. Guess it was a bad analogy.</p>
<p>Thank you again for your advice about pushing as much of the
operations to the kiosk rather than the photo booth if my photo
booth line becomes too long. Again, this comes with experience.</p>
<p>Joe Connell and your staff are doing a great job! Paid support
with other software is lame compared to the Sparkbooth support. Joe
is working to resolve an issue within seconds of it posting on your
site. I can't say enough about the outstanding support of your
staff.</p></div>jimrobertson01
