Can you attaché the ORIGINAL logo that they provided
that you did NOTHING with... was it a JPG/PNG/??

I am a bit confused by the double strip you sent being one side
is Green
and the other side is more to the RED tone ... I re-read your
message and that logo may be what they sent you but I just want to
make sure it is the exact color (the orange part)... if you did
anything with it in another software (like Photoshop) it could have
lost the orange tone it started with...

Let me know and I will try to make a image adjustment to the
logo so that it has a more ORANGE color... color shifting may
appear when an image is a JPG that was made transparent...

they gave you is NOT actually orange.

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397135482016-04-23T05:04:37Z2016-04-23T05:04:37ZColor not matching when added a jpg file

,,,and it is not RED either.... more of a Red/Orange
and when it is full size you do not notice it
and it appears to be an orange color, but when you
make it smaller it appears to be more red than orange.

Thanks for the quick reply.

First, to clarify - one side of the strip will be Orange, the
other side will be blue. I was only having issues with the left
side.

I see what you mean that the color isn't exactly orange.
However, when I look at it on my pc, and also in the preview in my
mac, it appears to be more orange. The sample I sent (and the one
on this page) appears more red. Also when I take a screenshot it is
also red.

Davidtag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397135482016-04-23T05:08:40Z2016-04-23T05:08:41ZColor not matching when added a jpg file

Two follow up questions:

Any easy way to make this orange?

What is the preferred formate for images imported into
sparkbooth?

Davidtag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397135482016-04-23T05:12:22Z2016-04-23T05:12:22ZColor not matching when added a jpg file

attach the ORIGINAL file...
JPG files tend to not keep the colors as precise as they start
out.
The best file format (IMO) to save image files is PNG
Sparkbooth can accept any image file ....
I always save my images as PNG even if I am not making it
transparent

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397135482016-04-23T05:16:00Z2016-04-23T05:16:04ZColor not matching when added a jpg file

Attached is the original file exactly as the client sent it.

Davidtag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397135482016-04-23T05:17:55Z2016-04-23T05:17:55ZColor not matching when added a jpg file

YES, that is a red/orange not ORANGE
It would not be easy... but it can be done
my estimate to do that (for me) would take about
an hour or two because I would need to draw over
the red/orange text and make it ORANGE...

If you want me to try and fix it let me know
it is 1am here so I would do it tomorrow...
NOTE: you should send your client the image I added
the Orange and Red to make sure they want it ORANGE
and not red/orange that you currently have...

we don't want to waste 2 hours correcting it
if red/orange is the actual color

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397135482016-04-23T05:31:27Z2016-04-23T05:31:30ZColor not matching when added a jpg file

Thanks so much - I will send the client the image and see what
they say. The event isn't until next week, so we have a little bit
of time to sort this out.

Davidtag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397135482016-04-23T05:35:34Z2016-04-23T05:35:34ZColor not matching when added a jpg file

Let me know so I can work on it for you
then you should send the NEW one to them for approval

I can tell you they will say it is not what they want LOL
I have been thru this many time with people thinking they know
what the color is and it is a shade different when they
actually
see it and all we do is USE Their image...

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397135482016-04-25T14:17:15Z2016-04-25T14:17:15ZColor not matching when added a jpg file

I just played around a bit and went full halloween orange

Rob (ZCZ)tag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/397135482016-04-25T14:33:36Z2016-04-25T14:33:36ZColor not matching when added a jpg file

That looks great Rob...
