closer look at the Layout Editor screen to
be able to zoom in for a closer look... (?)

Can you provide a Photoshop background image
that you would be using as an example that I could review?

like to be able to import the design into the layout create to add
the location for the photo spots by zooming in to fit the photo
limits to the frame lines in the layout.

essentially yes I would like to enlarge the view of the design
so I can get a better view of where the photo locations should be
placed within the designs.

sa4c.photographytag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/361961542015-03-04T19:12:55Z2015-03-04T19:12:55ZZoom

OK, ... no that feature [ZOOMING IN] is not available
( YET ...I too think it would be helpful at times)

You should notice when you are moving the photo boxes
that when they are aligned a guild line will be seen
this should help lining up the photo boxes straight.

Also when you are creating your background image
in Photoshop, keep in mind that the cut out boxes
need to be the 4hX6w ratio
(it appears you knew that already)

Joe Connelltag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/361961542015-03-04T19:41:42Z2015-03-04T19:41:42ZZoom

Yes I was already aware of the dimensions restrictions. and the
alignment only works once you have the first photo location
created. When importing a layout like that you still need to fit
the first one before the others will line up correctly.

I know that zooming isn't available, the initial post was to ask
if that functionality could be added to the SB layout creator. It
would help trying to get the backgrounds, overlays, and photo
locations all correctly aligned without having to keep creating
preview after preview to zoom in and checking to make sure they are
correctly aligned.

Thank you Joe

sa4c.photographytag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/361961542015-03-04T19:49:40Z2015-03-04T19:49:40ZZoom

YES... I stated ( YET ...I too think it would be helpful at
times)
and I know John will read this and add it to the possible
To Do list of new features...

I too, check the layout by preview in Irfanview which
allows Zooming in to see close up it the photo box(s)
are exactly where they should be and it is a trial and error
at times adjusting a pixel left & right, up & down...

So maybe John could make a way to zoom in on the
Layout Editor screen for detail adjustments.

Joe Connell
