don't think the uninstall removed everything so I may try that

this time.

Also what version of Sparkbooth are you running? Go to Settings

see the version.

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/278045582013-07-16T17:57:37Z2013-07-16T17:57:37ZCustom Layout using the Sparkbooth Custom Layout tool

Hello Darrell,

Thanks for your response. I didn't think I needed it as we
successfully created our own layout and got it in spark booth and
used it. It was only when we went back to the layout tool and tried
to tweak it that we couldn't get it to upload.

Right now we have a work around by just using an overlay on a
standard layout. When the crunch is over I may contact you and do
some 1 on 1 training.

Thanks

file
and importing (loading) it into the Sparkbooth program
correctly.

If you have changed the original layout you created, all you
need to do
is SAVE it (as you did before and then open Sparkbooth,
Settings - Layouts and click the folder icon to import it.
Make sure you are in the correct folder that you saved it in
and selecting the correct SBL file.

It should Load into the Layout window and be ready to use...
NOTE: if you made a change from Square to Wide screen in the layout
creator,
the Sparkbooth program will not be able to see it unless you have
it also set
for the same format. (just drawing straws here because it sounded
like you
did it correctly but it failed...??)

Give me a few more details and upload a sample of what you have
or
even the SBL file(s) that you saved... we are all here to
help .

I could not duplicate the issue with my tests, so if you could
send me your
sbl files I can check if there is an issue with them.

Also do you see a sparkbooth.txt file in your Documents folder -
send that
to me too.

John

Johntag:help.sparkbooth.com,2010-04-06:Comment/278045582013-07-16T19:26:40Z2013-07-16T19:26:40ZCustom Layout using the Sparkbooth Custom Layout tool

Actually what I found out is that the name of the layout is
created at the beginning of the custom layout process. When I
exported the layout I renamed the file but there must be meta-data
with the original name on it so when I import the renamed file it
reverts back to the original name create in the layout tool. (if
that makes sense) So the modified file does get imported it just
doesn't show the new name. Knowing that I think i'm ok now.

Thanks for your time.
